Gig Date Change!
Thank you to all our friends who came out to Crossroads Pub last night to see us play! A great crowd showed up, and we were disappointed to have to let everyone know that due to a double-booking, we were not going to play until... today. Our show was pushed back a day and I'm sorry to those whose plans were affected.
On the bright side, "The Square Roots" was there to play, so hopefully those of you who stuck around got a chance to hear them play and had a great time. We talked a bit with The Square Roots and they were a couple of very talented musicians and very gracious people.
I hope as many of you as possible can make it out tonight!

Private Party, June 4, 2010
We played a private graduation party at the beginning of June. It was tough to get video, but we were able to have someone capture an excerpt of us playing the Redneck National Anthem, Sweet Home Alabama.
John Weekley Jr. sat in with us on rhythm guitar, and Benjamin Walters (Paul's son) "sat in" as well, with his guitar. His constant tugging at Paul's leg and attempts at stealing the microphone made singing tough, but we made it through!

Thanks, Scoot!
Paul Walters & The Handsome Hippie want to extend a special Thank You to Scoot Pittman for having us play with him at Fifty-1 on Pineville-Matthews road last night. Scoot, you are the man! Thanks again.

Filter's "Take a Picture" 6.11.10
Guitar player Charlie Panosh also sat in with us on this song: Take a Picture by Filter. Even though the three of us didn't practice together, Charlie's skill was much appreciated.
Todd seemed to have a great time "bouncing musical ideas" off of Charlie. It is unfortunate that the camera was positioned a little too close to the speakers during this song, so if the moments of distortion bother you, I don't blame you for skipping over this video!
